REMEDIATION SERVICES
In situations when subsurface contamination is identified at high concentrations, remediation activities are required, which involve one or more of the followings: delineate the extent of contaminants by conducting additional subsurface investigations, including groundwater monitoring wells; determine the pathways and receptors affected by contaminants; propose different approaches to deal with the contamination; and prepare reports in compliance with DEQ in order to obtain closure for the subject site.
Some of the remedial technologies used include: active remediation, e.g. soil removal; soil vapor extraction; slurry walls; groundwater extraction and treatment; steam injection; ozone oxidation; and bioremediation. |
